Grand Prix's American Pie, SC - "Lenox"
(Ch. Hamrya's Honey Beee JC, ROMX X Ch. Milescross Barbarella, SC)
2/26/2004 - 6/2013
Breeders: Wendy Gay & Guin Borstel
Owners; Delia Zarges & Melina Hovanski
Lenox, AKA "Lightbulb Head", always gave 110%. This super cheerful, adorable whippet got the best of temperaments from both sides of his pedigree, combining his sire's solid unflappability, with his dam's 'gotta love me' cuteness. Lenox happily lived his life with Dee & Melina, and his Auntie Mysty & 1/2 sister Bella, in Sacramento.

Lenox enjoyed lure coursing best of all. He was a bit accident prone in his off-time hours, first severing an artery in a tussle with a rescue foster dog, then attempting to amputate his front leg while on vacation, so he was never shown or run all that much.
All his mishaps nonwithstanding, Lenox just needed his majors to finish in the show ring, and had several points towards his AKC FC. Sadly, sweet Lenox was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Disease at eight year of age and he passed away after fighting the good fight at the much too young age of nine and a half. He will be missed.
