Int'l Ch. MIlescross Favrile, JC - "D'Brique"
(Ch. Grand Prix's Seraphic, SC X Ch. Milescross Barbarella, SC)
DOB 4/30/2006
Breeder: Guin Borstel
Owner: Cheryl Grubaugh
Brique is one of the three handsome sons of Pie and Bryce. Snapped up at eight weeks by Cheryl and John, he lives in much happiness with his whippet pals Beren and Tari in Sacramento. Brique is a handsome, masculine dog, with lovely, flowing movement. Definately an overacheiver, Brique got an early start in the ring, earning most of his points, along with an exciting Group Two, before he was two. Unfortunately, Brique splintered his toe racing, and then was run over by a bike at the Eugene National, so he has been struggling with intermittant lameness for the last couple of years. When he is sound, he is always a contender, and we hope to get that last major in the near future. He enjoys playing in the UKC and the International show rings and has had great succes in both.

Brique enjoyed some modest success on the oval track and was starting a promising lure coursing career when his running days were cut short by that toe injury. He currently is relaxing at home, healing up, and hopefully he will run again.
Brique is a really nice specimen of the breed, and is very glamourous for a male whippet. Although he is out rarely, due to his injury and his owner's schedule, he always turns heads when he does appear. He really deserves to finish his title, and fingers are crossed that this will happen in 2010.
